1.23.13-Base Pair has recently signed another new commercial client to develop an aptamer to screen for an environmental contaminant. The client is seeking an aptamer where antibodies have previously failed. Validated aptamers to their target to test in the assay should be available in 3-5 weeks and they anticipate a commercial assay will be available in less than two years. Both companies are looking forward to the successful completion of this project and are planning additional projects for the future.
