ATW0014 Aptamer to Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) Protein

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is a glycoprotein hormone produced by the chorionic tissue of the placenta. It is a member of the glycoprotein hormone family which includes luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). Its function is to maintain the corpus luteum and stimulate steroid secretion from the ovary in the beginning stages of gestation.

This aptamer was selected by scientists at Base Pair Biotechnologies using proprietary methods and human Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, [Sigma Part No. C1063] as a target.
